School Readiness

Babies and children do come with instructions and parents can get them at Catholic Charities! The Family Education and Empowerment Program provides an array of services that educate families and give parents the power to be their child’s first and most important teachers.  The path to educational success begins at birth and the family home is the child’s first classroom.  Through comprehensive and evidence based programming, information pills we educate, support and encourage parents to create a learning rich environment to provide a strong foundation for the child’s success in school and in life.  All services are available in the English and Spanish languages.

Experts tell us that 90% of all brain development occurs by the age of five. If we don’t begin thinking about education in the early years, our children are at risk of falling behind by the time they start Kindergarten.
