Now Hiring: Fiscal Clerk

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Pueblo, is seeking to hire a Fiscal Clerk.

General Purpose: To provide financial and clerical support within a work area. Provide financial support including processing, data entry, responding to and making calls on inquiries, and problem resolution. Provide administrative support for multiple projects, including but not limited to grants, reimbursements, time and efforts, maintain personnel and grant files, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or 3 years experience in business or related field.
  • Ensure that inquiries, that require a general understanding of the work area policies and procedures, are resolved, and that others are brought to the attention of the appropriate person.
  • Research and gather financial information for projects assigned.
  • Check and verify records and files.
  • Maintain filing systems and monitor efficiency.
  • Track and ensure accuracy of time and effort worksheets.
  • Perform basic data entry onto spreadsheets; perform basic word processing.
  • File forms and documents.
  • Photocopies and collates more complex materials such as grant proposals, and site visits.
  • Perform other related duties as required, including work performed at lower levels, when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance and clean driving record and background check required. This is a full-time position with a $13-$14 per hour salary plus benefits.
